This is the final water service shut-off notification you will receive for this project. On Thursday, 6/8, we will permanently shut off the existing creek-side 8” water main and tie-in our newly installed 10” water main on the corner of Adobe Creek at the point where the existing 8” water main will remain in service further up Fredensborg Canyon Road. The new 10” water main is pressurized, and we have already begun tying over services between Chalk Hill and Adobe Creek. Many homes receiving this notification will not be affected by Thursday’s work as your service will already be hooked up to the new main. However, we need to shut off adjacent valves on the existing 8” water main in order to perform this tie-in and it is possible that your water will not be in service from approximately 8am-4pm on Thursday, 6/8.
We appreciate your patience throughout our time on this project and are happy to announce that we anticipate paving the trench line along Fredensborg and Chalk Hill next week. Following this, the remaining work will be minimal, and we will begin demobilizing our equipment from the jobsite.
